WHO
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY AND COLLISION
INSURANCE?
The
renter or lessee is responsible for insurance. Liability
of $1,000,000.00 combined single limit, injury and
property damage. Comprehensive will be equal to the
equipment value, with a deductible of no more than
$1,000.00, and Mckinney must be listed as “loss
payee”.
HOW
CAN I PAY FOR MY RENTAL?
Mckinney allows our customers to pay by direct bill
with terms on approved credit,
or credit card.
IS
THERE A MILEAGE CHARGE? AND WHAT IS IT FOR?
Yes
there is a mileage charge, it is usage fee applied
to cover tires, brake, preventative maintenance, and
federal annual inspections.
CAN
I RENT A TRAILER FOR A ONE-WAY TRIP?

DOES
MCKINNEY DELIVER TRAILERS?

WHAT
DO I DO IF THE TRAILER NEEDS REPAIR?
During
normal business hours contact the Service Manager
or shop at the Mckinney location you rented your trailer
from. If it is an after hours repair Mckinney has
a nation wide toll free emergency repair service to
assist you, 1-877-777-6511.
WHAT
HAPPENS IF I RETURN THE TRAILER WITH DAMAGE?
A Mckinney
representative will contact you with a written estimate
for your approval. Upon approval Mckinney will make
the repairs, invoice your account, and the trailer
will come off rent.
WHAT
HAPPENS IF THE CARGO OR CONTENTS OF THE TRAILER GET
DAMAGED?
Cargo
claims are the customer’s responsibility, Mckinney
makes every effort to provide equipment that is free
of defects, but we do not accept any responsibility
for cargo claims.

AM AN OWNER OPERATOR, CAN I RENT A TRAILER FROM MCKINNEY?
Yes,
Mckinney does rent to owner operators. Print and fill
out a copy of our on line
credit application then fax it to the Mckinney
location closest to you, and a Mckinney representative
will contact you.
